Dr. Nora Disis Selected as Fellow of the Academy of Immuno-Oncology by SITC

The Cancer Vaccine Institute is proud to celebrate Dr. Nora Disis, CVI Director, on her selection as a 2026 Fellow of the Academy of Immuno-Oncology by the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC).

This recognition follows her selection as a 2025 Champion of SITC, awarded for her groundbreaking work in immunotherapy and leadership in developing cancer vaccines. Throughout her career, Dr. Disis has been a driving force behind innovations that harness the immune system to redefine cancer care. Her work has advanced the field of cancer vaccines from concept to the clinic, bringing safe, effective, and accessible options for cancer therapy and, in the future, prevention.
