The Cancer Vaccine Institute hosted US Congressman Rick Larsen (WA-02) on February 14th for a tour of the lab at South Lake Union. Congressman Larsen and Ryan Casey, District Director for the Congressman, met with Dr. Nora Disis and the CVI team to learn about our cancer vaccine research and discuss how federal funding supports CVI and UW Medicine research broadly.
