Dr. Shen received her MD in Preventive Medicine from West China University of Medical Sciences and her PhD in Toxicology from University of Kentucky. She did her postdoctoral training at University of California, Davis. Dr. Shen has extensive experience in toxicology, molecular and cell biology, cancer biology, nutritional sciences, chemistry, and medicine. Within the Cancer Vaccine Institute, she is involved with the Immunologic Monitoring Program and the development and characterization of peptide-specific breast and ovarian cancer vaccines.
