Erin received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Marine Science with a minor in Chemistry from Coastal Carolina University. After years of working as a veterinary technician, Erin began her research career at Amgen as a Senior Laboratory Technician where she also served as the secretary of the Washington Branch of the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). She joined the Cancer Vaccine Institute in May 2015 and currently works as the lead and day-to-day manager of the pre-clinical in vivo core, overseeing all experiments and treatment schedules. She has expertise in evaluating and optimizing experiment approaches and methodologies.
