Dr. Chun is an Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, with a clinical focus on breast cancer. She received her M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Chun completed her internal medicine internship and residency training at Providence Portland Medical Center, followed by a research fellowship in Immuno-Oncology at the Earle A. Chiles Research Institute, part of the Providence Cancer Institute. She completed her clinical fellowship in Hematology & Oncology at Oregon Health & Science University. She is a recipient of the 2024 Conquer Cancer Young Investigator Award and her research interest in immunological biomarkers associated with breast cancer responsiveness and resistance to treatment, and the application of immunotherapies to breast cancer treatment.
