Maggie Keelan is an assistant vice president for advancement, serving as the lead fundraiser for UW School of Medicine and Cancer Initiatives. She oversees a team of six, including four gift officers and the alumni relations team. She manages fundraising for education priorities, including M.D. scholarships and residency education, and research and clinical care priorities, including the Cancer Vaccine Institute and Departments of Urology and Family Medicine.

Maggie joined UW Medicine in 2015 and brings 15 years of advancement experience, primarily in higher education. Maggie has served as a major gifts officer for the Swedish Medical Center Foundation, as the director of annual giving for Seattle University and as the major gifts officer for the Boston University School of Theology. Maggie holds a master's in theological studies from Boston University with a concentration in Islamic/Christian relations and conflict resolution. She is also a professional harpist and released a solo album, Into Twilight, in 2011.
