Dione graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science. She has worked in oncology research since 2001. Dione started her research journey at Swedish in adult oncology, then moved to Seattle Children’s working with T cell therapy, and then Valley Medical Center creating a research department. She joined the UW Cancer Vaccine Institute as a Research Coordinator in 2025 and works directly with our patients. She is passionate about oncology and improving the lives of patients. Outside of research, Dione keeps busy with her active family, which includes three very energetic teenagers.
